The Dances After Dusk

The night comes alive with the passion of tango, the colors of stained glass, and the vibrancy of movement. Choreographer in Residence Keith Lee illuminates the stage with his intricate work, Stained Glass. Kelly Silliman of Stanardsville presents a witty piece called Dancer Blues set to original music by Andy Waldeck. To close the evening, Charlottesville Ballet heats up the theater with a reprise of Ariadne Conner's who's it all for anyway?, a sinewy tale of loves lost and gained as told through the eyes of tango.

Join us for a fantastic evening to warm the winter! Friday, February 26th and Saturday, February 27th, both at 7:30pm.

Transcendence

Join us for a mesmerizing evening of new works and old favorites. Charlottesville Ballet brings back Keith Lee’s A Windswept Remembrance, where dancers create a moving landscape that swirls in tandem with decadent music. In When Orpheus Dreams, Ariadne Conner delves into the mind of the renowned mythological character, retelling the great love story through the eyes of Orpheus as he reminisces about his Eurydice. Stanardsville's Kelly Silliman adds a contemporary work to the diverse program.

Don't miss the final performance of the season on Friday April 16th at 7:30pm and Saturday April 17th at 4:00 pm and 7:30pm.
