It’s that time of year again! Temperatures are dropping, weather forecasters begin to slip the “snow” word, and most importantly: love is in the air! Currently, CB staff are gearing up for the fourth annual Father/Daughter Valentine Dance, and the team couldn’t be more excited.

“This is such a joyous event,” Ali Brent, CBA Assistant Principal says. “Every year we look forward to our students bringing their whole families; it’s a wonderful day to celebrate family and community. We see a lot of the same children come back each year as well, whether or not they happen to be CBA students, and it’s wonderful watching them grow up.”

A particular family favorite of the event is the “Decorate A Dad” contest, where children are given 60 seconds to decorate a parent in tutus, scarves, silly string, feather boas, and anything else out of the costume and prop box from the CB Company Costume Room.

To meet the growing popularity of the event, CB will host three different dances on Saturday, February 6 at 1pm & 4:30pm and on Sunday, February 7 at 2pm. Ali would also like to add that any dads worried about missing the Super Bowl should know that there will be plenty of time to make it home before football. “We scheduled the event early in the afternoon on purpose; it’s a wonderful opportunity for dads to treat their daughters to a special day before family time cheering for the family team!”
