A Storybook Ballet Experience: The Sleeping Beauty This Children’s Ballet Series event is specially designed for ages 3-8 and provides a hands-on experience in the Charlottesville Ballet Studio Theater! [caption id="attachment_732" align="alignright" width="284"] Photos by Thomas Giroir[/caption] ● Introductory Ballet Class: explore basic ballet steps and dance to the music of Tchaikovsky’s “The Sleeping Beauty” ● Royal Crown Activity: learn the history of the ballet and decorate your own Prince crown or Princess tiara! ● Performance Excerpts from “The Sleeping Beauty”: watch professional dancers of Charlottesville Ballet perform excerpts from the real ballet. Don’t miss magical fairies, Prince Charming, and the beautiful Princess Aurora.

Join us on Saturday, May 4th at 9:30am or at 11:30am in the new Charlottesville Ballet Studios for a morning of learning, fun, and dance. Each class size is capped at 20 participants, so space is limited. Tickets are $35 for children and all accompanying adults enjoy the event for free!
