Call for Community Performers | Keith Lee’s “Trilogy”

Calling All Dancers– Perform on Stage with Charlottesville Ballet’s Professional Company!

Charlottesville Ballet is offering community members a chance to participate in our upcoming Mainstage Two Performance: Tribute on April 20 at Piedmont Virginia Community College. The performance celebrates the company’s fifth season with an evening of works by Associate Director Keith Lee.

The grand finale for the April 20 performance is Keith Lee’s gospel-inspired work called Trilogy, which includes ballet, jazz, and modern dance movements. We are looking for community performers from all across Central Virginia to join the professional company on stage for the third and final section of Trilogy in an upbeat and energetic dance.

Check out Keith Lee’s “Call for Community Performers” to hear from the choreographer and see segments from Trilogy!

Keith Lee wants performers from “all colors, creeds, and dance backgrounds” to join us onstage for this community collaboration and we’d love to have members from the C-ville dance community involved.

Community performers should be age 11 & up and have some dance experience. Participants receive a FREE TICKET to the Mainstage Two Performance and must be available for four (4) free rehearsals to participate:

-Two Community Rehearsals in each Central Virginia location (Richmond, Cville, Lynchburg, etc.)
-Put-Together Rehearsal at CB: Friday, April 19 from 6:15-7:45pm
-Performance at PVCC: Saturday, April 20 | Tech from 2pm-5pm, Performance at 7:30pm
