Charlottesville Ballet utilizes Patron Technology, an online software and consulting company that serves the arts and non-profit industries with cutting-edge technology and e-marketing expertise. The innovative ticketing system allows our patrons to:
- Easily purchase tickets online with fast, easy checkout
- Select “Pick-Your-Own” seating at PVCC for The Nutcracker and Family Series performances
- Redeem unique discount codes for Charlottesville Ballet shows and events
- Sign up for our mailing list and receive email reminders and behind-the-scenes information on each production
The PatronTicket system does asses a Service Fee for online orders purchased with a credit card. You will see a listing of “Unit Fee” on the checkout page of your cart, which follows the fee prices listed in the following chart:

Note on Amex: our credit card processor has stopped accepting American Express credit cards as of July 2019. If you are receiving a generic error message while making a ticket purchase or donation to the Ballet with an Amex card, please try an alternate credit card!
Patrons who do not wish to order online can make a ticket reservation with the Box Office by calling 434.227.7592. Tickets will be held at will call and orders paid by cash or check do not have any associated fees. How to Change Your Price Level
Select a seat, then click “Change” next to the Price Level and scroll through the drop down menu to select ticket options for your party (Adult, Child, Student, etc.*).
*Please note that at PVCC, the gray seats at the ends of Rows C and Q are for patrons with disabilities or special seating requirements. Please call 434-227-7592 to reserve.
Please remember that tickets are non-refundable and all ticket sales are final! In the event a production is canceled due to inclement weather or other emergency, every reasonable effort will be made to reschedule the performance. In the event that the production can not be rescheduled, we will be unable to refund or exchange purchased tickets. However, ticket holders may contact the box office to receive a receipt for a tax-deductible donation. All programming, casting, and pricing are subject to change.
Charlottesville Ballet values the diverse members of our community and offers discounted tickets to the following patrons for all performances:
- Children and Youth (ages 3-12)
- Students (must bring valid photo ID)
- Seniors (age 62+)
- Military (members of our Armed Forces; please bring military ID)
Charlottesville Ballet frequently offers ticket promotions to our valued patrons (another great reason to become a Facebook fan or join our mailing list!). If you have a special DISCOUNT CODE for a ticket promotion, you can enter it online during the “checkout” process.
Find the performance information page and click on the “Order Tickets Now” button (which transfers you to the ordering page of the Charlottesville Ballet Box Office). Add the desired tickets/seats to your cart and click “Check Out.” You will then see a page that looks similar to the one pictured on the right. Enter your unique discount code and click “Apply” to receive your promotional offer.
