Ballet, jazz, contemporary
The Young Dancer Summer Intensive is a program designed for serious dancers ages 8 to 11. The five day intensive runs from 9:00am-3:00pm each day and allows young students to hone their skills in a highly-focused environment. Students will receive pre-professional training in ballet with exposure to other dance genres (modern, jazz, contemporary, hip hop) as well as learning classical variations and new choreography.
*Pre-Ballet 2 or higher – no audition required
- Tuition fees cover all classes, materials for arts and crafts projects, and a snack each day at the studio.
- Participants should bring a bagged lunch to enjoy with friends between dance and enrichment activities.
- Each camp will have a Parent Showcase on the last day of camp
- Register for one camp and receive 10% off each additional camp held during Summer 2018

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Charlottesville Ballet is dedicated to providing dance training to students and families from all financial backgrounds.
